A sneak peek INSIDE Galaxy’s Edge’s Rise of the Resistance wasn’t the only surprise Disney gave us yesterday!

And just in case you didn’t tune in to The Wonderful World of Disney’s Magic Holiday Special that aired on ABC last night, we’ll show you some screenshots of it HERE!

We’re anxiously counting down the days until Decemeber 20th when Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker finally debuts in theaters! And last night, we at home were treated to some very special b-roll footage of George Lucas along with Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Alec Guinness, and the rest of the gang filming the original Star Wars trilogy! Here’s a still image from one of the scenes they aired — notice how Peter Mayhew is wearing eye makeup, but not his Chewbacca mask!

And it was wonderful to see Carrie Fischer again, shown here with Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill goofing off between takes!

It’s so strange to see these guys filming the original Star Wars movies without any clue at how truly iconic they would become! Look at how fresh-faced this young George Lucas is in this clip! He’s just a curly-haired baby — but already has his signature beard!

But that wasn’t all the behind-the-scenes stuff they showed us! Take a look at some never-before-seen footage of the filming of The Rise of Skywalker!

And we even got to see Rey training for her epic battle with Kylo Ren!

Finn was also on hand, looking fierce as he steadied himself to blast down some of the First Order’s TIE Fighters in this scene they filmed for the new movie!
