Find Out All the Ways You Can Stay in Disneyland After Dark in 2020!

2020 is nearly here!! And while we still get to stuff our faces with turkey and open heaps of presents, it’s time to start planning those 2020 Disneyland Resort vacations!

And in 2020, Disneyland is bringing back Disneyland After Dark. This separately ticketed event is a great way to hang out in the parks after close with fewer crowds!

During Disneyland After Dark events, guests receive unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass pics taken during the party and they can hop on select attractions throughout the park with shorter wait times!

So, grab your park shoes and get ready, because there are a lot of 2020 events to explore!

80s Nite

January 29, 2020 at Disneyland Park

Tease that hair and grab your favorite fanny pack because it’s time to throw it back with 80s Nite. The evening will include events like “Flashback To Videopolis!” which will take over the Fantasyland Theatre. Here, guests will find a live DJ, music videos, and dancers gettin’ down to some of the 80s top hits.

There will also be the “Awesome After Dark – Fireworks To The Max!” fireworks show. According to Disney, this will be a high-energy musical filled entertainment and more. But those aren’t the only totally tubular experiences guests will find at 80s Nite. There will also be throwback-style meet-and-greets, fun photo opportunities, decade-inspired decor, food, drinks, and merch.

Access to Disneyland park will begin at 6 PM for this event on January 29th, 2020. The event will take place from 9 PM – 1 AM and tickets are $109 per person. Are you ready to boogie down?

Sweethearts’ Nite

February 12th and 13th at Disneyland Park

Kick-off Valentine’s Day a few days early with Sweethearts’ Nite. This returning event is a magically romantic experience filled with love song-themed dance parties, a glitzy royal ball, and encounters with Disney couples. Couples will include Cinderella and Prince Charming, Aladdin and Jasmine, and Mickey and Minnie Mouse!

There will also be adorably sweet photo opportunites with iconic romantic scenes from Disney films, “lovely decor“, food, drinks, and merch. Access to Disneyland park for this event will also begin at 6 PM. This event will also take place from 9 PM – 1 AM. These tickets are also $109 per person!

PIXAR Nite

March 5th, 2020 at Disney California Adventure Park

Are you a lover of all things Pixar? Then, this just might be the After Hours event for you! The night will include Pixar-themed interactive dance parties with The Incredibles and a few pals from Monsters, Inc. Guests can also meet peeps like Russel and Carl from Up and Inside Out‘s Joy and Sadness.

Like the other events, there will be fun decor, food, drinks, and merch around the park. Access to Disney California Adventure will start at 5 PM. The event is $109 per person and takes place from 8 PM – Midnight.

Villains Nite

April 30th, 2020 at Disney California Adventure Park

Want to hang with Disney’s most villainous misfits? Then gather your hooks and fur coats and head to Villains Nite at DCA. Here, there will be a villains cabaret, DJ-hosted dance parties and sing-alongs around the park, villainous encounters, photo ops, decor, food, drinks, and merch!!

While Disney hasn’t shared which villains will be lingering in the shadows, we can’t wait to find out!

Oogie Boogie Halloween

Guests can enter at 6 PM but the event will take place from 6 PM – 1 AM at Disney California Adventure. And like the other events, these tickets are also $109 per person.
