We found one new seasonal dish, from Flo’s V-8 Cafe, that really got our motor running!

The highway is clear and we’re cruising right for the Blue Plate Special: Salisbury Steak.

The Blue Plate Special, priced at $12.99, features a 1/3 pound Angus beef patty, green chile mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, and seasonal vegetables. We became FAST members of the Clean Plate Club with this one!

We’ll be honest, at first glance this didn’t look too appetizing to us! All it took was one bite to change our minds entirely. The flavor of this dish is fantastic! It’s two slices of white bread topped with mashed potatoes, a burger patty, and delicious mushroom gravy. It comes with a side of steamed broccoli and carrots, although ours seemed to be predominantly broccoli.
