Disney's Grand Floridian Gingerbread House Has An OFFICIAL Opening Date!

Something sweet is baking over at the Grand Floridian!

As we reported earlier this week, construction has begun on the Grand Floridian‘s annual Gingerbread House! This life-size holiday treat tradition is over 20 years strong, and we are SO excited to see this year’s rendition! Speaking of which, we spotted a sign in the Grand Floridian lobby that gives us a better idea when we can expect to pay a visit to the completed sugary-sweet building…

The Gingerbread House will have its grand opening November 13th, 2019 at 10:30 AM. That means we can expect the snack stand inside the house to be open for business then as well!

We also feasted our eyes on this menu of items that will be available for store opening!

Dark Chocolate Mickey Pop, Gingerbread Cookie Man, and Thin Mint Cookies are just a few of the treats that will be available at the Gingerbread House storefront! It’s worth noting the there will be vegan and gluten-free options available, and that several items are eligible for a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.

The shop will also offer signature items such as a Gingersnap Cookie, Brownie Tree Pop, and Snowman Donut. YUM, we’ll take them all!

If you are looking to buy some of these magical holiday treats as a gift, the store will also offer a Grand Floridian Signature Gift Box, which will contain an assortment of Gingerbread Cookies, Peppermint Bark, and other gingerbread goodies!

Once open, all of these festive treats will be available for purchase at the snack stand inside the Gingerbread House, seen under construction here!

Until opening day, you can stop by the Grand Floridian lobby to get a behind the scenes look at how this MASSIVE house is constructed! Cast Members have been working each day, and it’s so fun to see how all their hard work comes together!

This list of ingredients that go in to this massive house is JAW DROPPING! Along with hundreds of pounds of baking ingredient, the house also requires TONS of Disney magic!

While we eagerly await the official opening, we are fully enjoying watching every little detail come together to create this truly impressive holiday display! We even had the opportunity to get a little taste! 🙂
