officially opens in Walt Disney World on Thursday, August 29th (it’s tomorrow, people!!).

In anticipation of hungry travelers, Disney has decided to extend the hours of a few Quick-Service locations around Disney Resorts, so guests can fill their bellies before entering Batuu.

Locations like Pop Century’s Everything POP Food Court, The Market at Ale & Compass, and Beach Club Marketplace will be opening at 2:30 AM on Thursday, August 29th.

These locations will also be opening at 3:30 AM from Friday, August 30th through Monday, September 2nd. We expect that many quick service locations around the Disney Resorts will be participating in this, as well. And, Yacht and Beach Club also shared that their locations will be open starting at 4:15 AM from September 3rd through 21st. 

This is just one major way that Disney is attempting to assist with the anticipated Galaxy’s Edge crowds. Another way is by opening Galaxy’s Edge at 6 AM for ALL guests on August 29th through 31st.

Then, starting on Sunday, September 1st, Disney will kick off “EXTRA” Extra Magic Hours. These will allow guests staying at Disney Resorts (and a few good neighborhood hotels) to enter Hollywood Studios at 6 AM, and Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom at 7 AM. These are currently taking place until November 2nd!!
