We recently discovered that Christina Aguilera will join the lineup of this year’s Disney Legend honorees!
During each D23 Expo, a new group of Disney Legends is inducted during an awards ceremony. They are honored for their contributions to the Walt Disney Company and their continual support of the magic the company creates. This year, there are 12 recipients joining the league of 289 Disney Legends. The inductees include Robert Downey Jr., Christina Aguilera, and several others.

Aguilera was first featured on Disney Channel’s The All New Mickey Mouse Club, singing her way into the hearts of the show’s viewers. Soon after, her incredible voice landed her the opportunity to record the pop version of “Reflection” for Mulan‘s 1998 release. She has also been featured on numerous Disney television segments, including Nashville, Dancing with the Stars, and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest.

The Disney Legends Awards Ceremony will take place in Hall D23 at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 23 during the Expo.
