Red, white, and blue— Oh! And, a day in Disneyland too!

Barbecue, ice cream, fireworks, and time spent with family and friends — what else could you ask for during the Fourth of July? It’s a good thing that Disneyland offers all this and MORE for the holiday!
With Main Street, U.S.A., the Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes, and other attractions established in the parks, Disneyland certainly seems to have a special place in its heart for America. This year, there are numerous ways to celebrate Independence Day throughout the parks, hotels, and stores!
From the banners hanging at Disneyland City Hall to the flags placed on Main Street, U.S.A., red, white, and blue is on display all over Disneyland. Even Mickey is joining in on the patriotic color scheme! In Town Square from 8 AM to 3 PM on July 4th, you can grab a picture with the mouse that started it all in his best holiday outfit.

Fourth of July Merchandise in Disneyland
Want to match Mickey Mouse? Pop into the Emporium and Pioneer Mercantile in Disneyland Park, Elias & Co. in Disney California Adventure, and World of Disney and Curl Surf in Downtown Disney to pick up some patriotic merchandise. You’ll find Minnie ears, dresses, tees, Spirit Jerseys, and more! Hurry, though! These items are available for a limited time only.
Do all the Fourth of July festivities make you hungry? Me too! Grab a snack in Downtown Disney to satisfy your cravings! Try the Berry Ice Creams at Salt & Straw, a 4th of July Box or Americana Mini Sampler at Sprinkles, or the Red, White & Blue Cake Shake at Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes. You can even take a sip of the Frozen Cherry Boba Lemonade at Wetzel’s Pretzels or the Firecracker Cocktail at Splitsville Luxury Lanes.

Disneyland Fourth of July Treats
Still hungry? Head on over to The Sand Bar at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel from 3-10 PM on July 4th for a barbecue complete with corn on the cob, short rib brisket burgers, all-beef hot dogs, and drinks. You’ll also find free face painting, live music (at 6 PM), and other fun activities open to the public! If you’re a hotel guest, you can enjoy Disneyland Hotel’s July 4th party from 12-4 PM at the Magic Kingdom lawn. Caricatures, food, face painting, live music, and more will be available!
Want to end the night with a bang? Find a spot in front of the newly refurbished Sleeping Beauty Castle for the special nighttime firework show, “Disney’s Celebrate America!—A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky.”
What a way to have a magical Fourth of July!
