But first, a bit of background… Things have been changing up a bit here and there at Casey’s. For instance, just last month they stopped selling foot-long hot dogs at this classic hot dog spot. (You can now find those at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café.)

And, at the time the foot-long change was announced, we also learned that Casey’s had plans to discontinue the featured Hot Diggity Dog of the Month. But, lo and behold…

While the foot-long hots dogs are still over in Tomorrowland, Casey’s is currently serving up a returning Hot Diggity Dog of the Month, with the Jalapeno Popper Hot Diggity Dog!

A fun aspect of the Hot Diggity toppings is that you can opt to get them on a batch of Loaded Fries instead of a dog. Which is exactly what we did with the Jalapeno Popper Loaded Fries!

In addition to pickled jalapeno poppers, the pile of fries is loaded up with cheddar sauce (plastic cheese!!), bacon, and a garlic ranch drizzle.

Tucked inside the golden fried poppers are, of course, jalapenos (which actually aren’t as spicy as you might anticipate, so don’t let that deter you). AND even more cheddar cheese…

The garlic ranch aids in cooling down the spice from the peppers, in addition to being totally tasty. (Oh, and did we mention BACON?! There you go.) All of the flavors combined, in fact, are terrific.

In speaking with Cast Members, we learned that the Hot Diggity Dogs and Loaded Fries of the Month may not technically be on an exact monthly rotation like they were before (with a change on the 1st of each month). So, we’ll be back here…
