This week, we’ve been taking a look at a LOT of Disney holiday happenings for 2019. And, when it comes to a Disney vacation, it is never too early to start planning.
So here’s a heads up that Disney has just released the 2020 fall and holiday itineraries for Disney Cruise Line!
Ships will set sail from New York, California, Texas, and Florida to take you on the magical holiday journey of a lifetime.
Fall
If you’re traveling in September or October, you will have nights filled with ghoulish delight once you step on board your cruise, because Halloween on the High Seas is making its return. According to Disney, on select sailings, you will be able to experience a “mouse-querade costume party, lively entertainment, ghoulish food and beverage delights, trick-or-treating, seasonal kids’ activities, and a villainous party just for adults.” The ship will also be decorated with fun Halloween decor and you just might spot a magical pumpkin tree.
Winter
If you are stepping on board a Disney Cruise from early November to December, you’ll be able to experience Disney holiday magic on the seas with Very Merrytime Cruises. The ship will be “decked from bow-to-stern with holiday cheer,” including entertainment, merry parties, tree lighting ceremonies, holiday-themed food and beverages, familiar characters dressed in their holiday best, a winter wonderland ball featuring Santa and Mrs. Clause, and a “Frozen” snowfall. Sounds really magical, right?
These 2020 offerings will be available on select cruises!
Sailings from New York
If you are leaving from New York you’ll be heading to Bermuda or Canada on the Disney Magic. Get ready to get your spook on because you will get to experience Halloween on the High Seas!
There will be three five-night cruises. These will give you the ability to sail to Bermuda for two days. Once on the island, you can experience pink sand beaches, shopping, and much more.
A five-night cruise will also be available. It will take you to Saint John, New Brunswick, and Halifax in Canada where you will be able to do a lot of outdoor activities and witness the “reversing falling rapids,” and one of the world’s largest natural harbors.
Sailings from California
You’ll be able to hop on board the Disney Wonder when setting sail from San Diego, California in September. The ship will take part in Halloween on the High Seas as you cruise to Baja and the Mexican Riveria…sign me up! You will be able to choose from two, three, four, and fight night cruises where you will visit beaches filled with fun water activities. All of the cruises will take you to Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada, Mexico. The seven-night Mexican Riviera cruise option will also take you to Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta.
On November 6th, get ready to live on the seas for 14-nights with the Panama Canal crossing cruise!
Sailings from Texas
Wanting to cruise from Texas? Then, get ready to get your beach on as you will be sailing to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. The Disney Wonder will be cruising from Galveston from late November – December, so you will be able to experience a Very Merrytime Cruise!
Four-, five-, six-, and seven-night options will be available and will include stops in locations like Costa Maya, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman. The Bahamian cruises will make stops in Nassau, Bahamas and Key West, Florida.
Sailings from Florida
Planning to hop on a ship in Florida for the 2020 holiday season? Well, the great news is that if you’re leaving from this port there are options for cruises during both the fall and winter, so you have the option to experience Halloween on the High Seas or a Verry Merrytime Cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy or the Disney Dream.
You will have Caribbean and Bahamian options, which range from three to eight nights.
And get this…you can start booking the 2020 cruise of your dreams on June 13, 2019. What are you waiting for?!
