Disney’s Animal Kingdom Food What’s New

Mother’s Day weekend saw the introduction of a few treats. At Restaurantosaurus and Creature Comforts, moms could enjoy this Mother’s Day Cupcake, complete with odd, melty transfer.

We love the pretty pink flowers, and we love the sentiment of Mama Giraffe and her Giraffe Baby. But what an unpleasant addition to the cupcake that green, moist transfer is.

The Strawberry Soft-Serve added to the Anandapur Ice Cream Truck is much more appealing. 😉

Mike Wazowski Sippers are still available at popcorn carts throughout the park! (See our original post for this one-eyed fella here!)

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Construction What’s New

A small area of construction walls can be found in Harambe Market, blocking off what used to be views of the Wildlife Express Train.

And on the path between Festival of the Lion King and Pandora, this construction fencing is up.

This cut tree and some construction equipment are visible over the fencing, so we’ll watch to see what comes of it.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Merchandise What’s New

We spotted the popular Classic Cozy Knit Mr. Toad in Animal Kingdom. See our post here! He’s so stinkin’ cute.

In Pandora’s Windtraders, we spotted a few new-to-us items. The shop is offering $25 off a banshee/perch set.

There are several options on display, including this beauty!

The perch is a great way to display your banshee!

Perches can also be bought separately…to maybe display your other…plastic creatures.

Fans of Pandora may want to purchase an ACE Pandora MagicBand. It features some interesting artistic depictions of the land.

And naturally, there’s more apparel. “New Arrival” hats and tees!

This patched hat features iconic Pandora images like the floating mountains and Kapsavan River.

Same for this black version of the hat with slightly different patches.

This “Welcome to Pandora” tee lists some important info — including to “Enjoy the bioluminescence”!

And Flight of Passage enthusiasts will want to proclaim that they’ve been “genetically matched” with this tee. 😉

“Sivako!” You need this hat if you know this exclamation means “Rise to the challenge” in Na’vi!

These colorful Mountain Banshees with Roaring Action are a fun souvenir! Pull the tail, and listen to it roar! (Just don’t try this with a banshee IRL. Big no-no.)

This Utility Suit articulated figure could be hours of fun for little ones (or the kids inside us all)!
