Welcome back to Magic Kingdom for a little What’s New! Today we’ve got a peek at some new-to-us merchandise, character cones (the saga of Hei Hei continues!), and miscellaneous info (including an Easter Bunny update)!
Magic Kingdom Character Cone Update
So just two days ago we passed along the sad news that Hei Hei, the beloved character cone at Aloha Isle, had flown the coop (we’re not done with that pun yet, obviously). Cast members that day told us they expected raspberry Dole Whip to return, but they weren’t so optimistic about Moana’s lovable rooster.
And now… Hei Hei is back. It’s CONFIRMED!
He’s undeniably cute, and that eye is spot-on perfect. He looks just as confused as when he found himself in the middle of the Pacific with the daughter of the chief!
So the cone is back after barely getting loose in the yard, but there’s another development: NOW we can get a pineapple/raspberry Dole Whip swirl! YES! Talk about the height of refreshment for the upcoming summer heat! This isn’t on the menu yet — you’ll still need to ask the server about it — but it IS possible!
Meanwhile The Lost Princess Cone is still at Storybook Treats (along with that scrummy Peter Pan Float), and the Adventure is Out There Cone is still at Auntie Gravity‘s!
Magic Kingdom Merchandise
Sir Mickey’s
has plenty of new-to-us merchandise that we had to share.
This sweet and soft Pocahontas Tank Top is a lovely addition to the summer wardrobe.
And for chilly nights: an Aladdin Sweatshirt with this cool scene on the back!
At Uptown Jewelers, guests can find the newly-released Pandora Aladdin bangle and charm series.
The bangle reads “Never Lose Your Sense Of Wonder”, and charms include a blue sphere with silver Magic Carpet Ride detailing, a Magic Lamp, and Agrabah Castle.
Other Magic Kingdom Updates
If you visit Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny this weekend, you’ll receive a signature card (similar to those frequently used at holiday parties).
The Main Street Train Station is offering coloring pages for kiddos who need to get out of the sun and cool off for a bit!
The camel is still missing over at The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. We’ll let you know when it comes back!
If you’re looking for the Dumbo Sipper and Casey Jr. Train Popcorn Bucket, they’re still available in various locations throughout the park.
Thanks for stopping into Magic Kingdom with us to see What’s New — and be sure to jump on board the DFB What’s New train when we pull into the station next week!
