This past weekend, it was revealed at Star Wars Celebration Chicago that fans who shared their “Fanfessionals” at the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge booth during the event would be part of the upcoming land in Disneyland (opening May 31st) and Disney World’s Hollywood Studios (opening August 29th).

And Disney has shared a new video featuring the Star Wars Fanfessionals. The recorded video which, Disney shares, “includes memories of watching Star Wars films for the first time as well as messages of excitement for the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge,” will ultimately be added to a Holocron which will have a permanent home on the planet Batuu!

Wendy Anderson of Walt Disney Imagineering shares the following quote: “We’re doing this because we love our fans and we want the fans to have a way to be part of what we’re creating. It’s been really incredible to see people talk about their heroes and talk about finding themselves.  The idea that we’re giving people an outlet for their fandom, that means something.”
