This week we hopped on the monorail for a tour of all the resorts around Seven Seas Lagoon! We stopped by the Grand Floridian to check out their yearly Easter Egg display, checked out the latest cupcake to arrive at Contempo Cafe in the Contemporary Resort, and sipped on the new spiked Dole Whip drink at the Polynesian!

First, let’s head to the Grand Floridian for some special springtime treats!

What’s New at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

The annual Easter Egg display has arrived!

This display has been a tradition for 24 years now, with pastry chefs decorating chocolate eggs with everything from fondant to edible glitter!

Easter Treats were a NEW addition to the display set up this year! These specialty snacks are available from 10am-6pm in the lobby.

One of the most egg-citing treats we spotted was the Grand Egg.

This Easter treat is egg-stra special (sorry we couldn’t resist!) — it’s filled with jelly beans!! You can read more about it here!

Next up, we stopped by Gasparilla Island Grill to check in on the seasonal cupcakes offerings. We spotted this super cute floral cupcake…

And this blueberry lemon cupcake! Both would make a fantastic springtime treat!

What’s New at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

The Contempo Cafe is one of our go-to spots for a great specialty cupcake, and this new addition is no exception!

What’s New at Disney’s Polynesian Resort

This trip to Disney’s Polynesian Resort rewarded us with our new favorite warm weather cocktail.

But first, we took a peek at the seasonal cupcakes available at Captain Cook’s. This Moana cupcake has us feeling those tropical vibes…

And this purple Mickey cupcake is satisfying our color-trend craving!

Now, the thing you’ve all been waiting for — the Lime Dole Whip Margarita!!

This frozen treat is a great mash up of a classic margarita and that new lime Dole Whip that has been taking over the parks. You’ll find this new drink at the Barefoot Pool Bar, but it will soon arrive at the Oasis Bar and Grill, too. Check out our full review here!
