Jambo from Harambe Village in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! After a spin on Kilimanjaro Safari, we couldn’t resist popping into Zuri’s Sweet Shop to see if they had any new treats for us to try. And we are so glad we did because we found the CUTEST cookie. Introducing the MICKEY DONUT COOKIE!

Mickey Donut Cookies

I mean, how adorable are they!? For those who are big fans of donuts, you probably realized that they’ve made the ears and center of Mickey into glazed donuts! To be clear though, this is a frosted cookie, not a donut.

Pink Frosted Cookie (and Mickey!)

We dove into the pink frosted version first. It was delicious! It’s a fluffy shortbread cookie, and you can definitely taste the almond extract. Which was fine by me — I love almond flavoring. 🙂 The frosting is vanilla that’s been dyed pink and topped with lots of sprinkles!

Chocolate Frosted Cookie

The Chocolate version, is the exact same, but with chocolate frosting. Though possibly not *quite* as cute, was slightly better in my opinion. Even though the cookie is the same, I prefer the chocolate frosting.

Overall, this a super adorable cookie that is soft and buttery, with that nice hint of almond. There isn’t much frosting, so it’s nice if you want something sweet but not too overwhelming. However, if you’re a super sweet fan, this probably isn’t the best cookie for you. Unless you want to take a really cute picture of it, of course. 🙂
