She’s here and she’s amazing! Kevin has landed in Animal Kingdom and she’s larger than life!

If you are wondering who, and what this giant bird is, she is from the Disney Pixar film Up. The stars of the film, Carl and Russell, befriend Kevin on their adventures in Paradise Falls. And the name, well initially Russell thinks Kevin is a boy, and names her Kevin, and the name stuck!

Disney tells us Kevin has migrated North and landed on Discovery Island in Animal Kingdom. She is certainly getting to know her new home as she explores the Island and meets new friends.

Kevin is guided around by two Wilderness Explorers, and you may even see her with Russell and Dug when you are in the park — we were lucky enough to a video of these three friends together.

Currently, you can find Kevin on Discovery Island daily from 9:30 – 4:30. Be sure to check the Times Guide to confirm the times she will be visiting the park when you visit Animal Kingdom.
