The ongoing major refurbishments at Disney World’s Caribbean Beach Resort are entering the “finishing touches” stage!

And changes to dining areas, of course, are high on the list of the renovations, with the recently opened new Spyglass Grill and the more recently announced Sebastian’s Bistro Table Service restaurant which will be the replacement to Shutter’s.

Now Disney is offering a glimpse at some of the colorful artwork that will enhance the expanded Centertown Market counter service spot!

The inspiration for the Imagineers stems from a variety of festivals which take place throughout the Caribbean islands.

And the hand-painted mural will reflect that celebratory festival feel.

“The mural depicts a street parade complete with music, dance and lavish costume pieces made from feathers and colorful hand-cut and fringed crepe paper,” according to Disney.

Colorful details will also enhance Sebastian’s Bistro, and will include a screen of hand-painted fishing floats at the entrance for the Bistro.

Though a late summer reopening was originally anticipated for the completion of the refurbishment, Disney has now confirmed a fall completion for the work.
