Guests have been able to book Dessert Parties to enjoy a selection of desserts paired with guaranteed seating for a nighttime spectacular at three out of the four Disney World theme parks for some time now.

Epcot hosts the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party, Hollywood Studios has the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party, and Magic Kingdom offers three different Dessert Parties for Happily Ever After. But Animal Kingdom has never hosted one… until now. The Rivers of Light Dessert Party will kick off soon in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Guests will have exclusive access to the Rivers of Light Viewing Area terrace and enjoy a buffet of themed desserts and snacks. Drink selections will include non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (for of-age guests). Guests will then be escorted to a reserved viewing area for Rivers of Light prior to the show.

The price is $79 for adults and $47 for children ages 3 to 9 (tax included). As with all Dessert Parties, separate admission to the park is required and not included.

Booking time will change per night based on the showtime for that evening. Interested guests will be able to book online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE for dates starting August 6, 2018. (Note that — at press time —  we are seeing dates populate starting August 11th for the online booking system, so earlier dates may require a call.) The Dessert Party will be available for booking on select nights, with Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays currently appearing as the available nights for the Party’s opening months.
