Via Napoli, operated by the Patina Restaurant Group, is coming to Italy in Epcot World Showcase in time for fall 2010. Shown here in a concept rendering, the 300-seat restaurant will feature a menu inspired by the famous pizzerias of southern Italy.

Patina is Californian, not Italian. Bring back Alfredo, or get another, actual Italian, restaurant.
I guess the name is in reference to Naples 45?

Daf — Nope. This will be an entirely new restaurant.
I am excited about the new restaurant in Italy – more choices are always great! However, i see a need for an italian coffee and pastry shop similar to what we find in most major squares in Italy – on a hot day in Epcot, who wouldn’t love an authentic Cafe Freddo? It just cannot be duplicaed in the States and I would love to have this choice in the Italian section of the World Showcase.
Shareen, good point! I think you can get Italian coffees in a kiosk outside, but a little cafe would be really nice!!
