In late December 2026, a Disney World Cast Member was injured after he stepped between the crowd to stop a runaway fake prop that weighs 400 pounds at the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular in Hollywood Studios.

The incident happened in one of the first scenes of the show when a prop boulder begins to roll down a ramp towards Indiana Jones, which is a recreation of a scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark. The Cast Member, Robert Herrick, then jumps between the prop and the audience to stop it from bounding into the crowd. After months of recovery, Herrick has officially returned to work, according to WFTV.
