That’s because it’s National Siblings Day, a day set aside to honor the special bonds that siblings share. The holiday was founded in 1995 by Claudia Evart, who was inspired to honor her siblings after losing her brother. Now, 34 years later, Disney is honoring siblings by spotlighting three sisters who all work at Disney World as Cast Members.

So today’s video is inspired by THEM, as well as our other cast member friends out there who have a whole bunch of tips and warnings that they WISH you knew about BEFORE taking those big trips to Disney World.

That goes for guests and it definitely goes for the Cast Members who make the magic happen every day. There are a lot of behind the scenes rules that most visitors never see. Today we’re taking a look at a few of the most surprising ones so you can appreciate just how much work goes into keeping the show running smoothly.
When you visit Walt Disney World, the rides, parades, and fireworks might be what you remember most, but none of that magic would shine the same way without the Cast Members.

From the smiling face that welcomes you at the gate to the performer who brings your favorite character to life, every Cast Member plays a role in creating that unforgettable Disney experience. They’re the heart and soul of the parks, working tirelessly behind the scenes and onstage to make sure the magic feels real for every guest. And while many roles get the spotlight, some of the most beloved Cast Members are the ones doing the hardest, and let’s be honest, messiest jobs in Disney World.
We’re begging you not to break these Skyliner rules the next time you take a ride on this method of transportation!

The Disney Skyliner is a free Disney World transportation offering that takes passengers to and from select hotels and the EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme parks. Yes, negative things are sometimes a little more manageable because hey, you’re in Disney World, but sometimes life’s struggles still break through that Disney bubble. Not to mention that being in Disney World can create a whole slew of NEW problems that you don’t really experience anywhere else. Since Cast Members are the first line of help for any issues in the parks, that means you could hear them say some pretty undesirable things throughout your trip, and if you do, you may want to turn around and walk the other way.

Cast Members create magic moments daily and are always there to help you and your family have a fun and memorable trip! While Cast Members are there to make magic, they also have to follow a strict set of rules, and now there are even newer rules that Cast Members have to follow.
