If you’re looking for a mug that’s “Practically Perfect in Every Way” for yourself or as a gift this holiday season, I think we may have found one for you. This charming little Mary Poppins mug has been around for a few months now, but it was only recently that I really stopped to look and examine the details. And, of course, there are details galore…
Three different panels surrounded in ornate designs feature Mary’s silhouette or simply her umbrella. [Read more…]

On a recent trip to the River Roost to catch a Yeeha Bob show, I couldn’t resist stopping in Fulton’s General Store (the merchandise shop in Port Orleans – Riverside Resort). For better or for worse, the past year brought on a resurgence of an old mug habit for me, due in no small part to the Resort-specific mugs that popped up around Disney World (like the one for the Contemporary Resort). Alas, they were all out of the Port Orleans — Riverside mug that I had hoped to pick up, but I did spot this new-to-me mug while I was there.
Rather than being Resort or park-specific, this one does a nice job of showing various aspects of experiences all over the Disney World parks, featuring scrapbook-like images of favorite attractions mixed with beloved characters. For instance, here’s a little something for all you fans of Figment out there. [Read more…]

Sure, Eating and Drinking Around the World is a MUST DO at the 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival. But don’t forget to save time for the shopping too!
Of course, there’s a TON of Festival Merch available this year — just like always.
But I mostly wanted to share with you the really special stuff that’s available to mark this year’s milestone 20th Anniversary.
Let’s take a look!
Whether you’d like to wear your souvenir or eat and drink off of it, you’ll find just the right piece to take home with you.
Grey, long-sleeved T-Shirts bear the main logo of the 2015 20th Anniversary Festival.
We found a slightly different version in a short-sleeved, burgundy model as well. [Read more…]

FYI, y’all — Disney has introduced a brand new collection of tableware, and it’s a stunner!
The Indigo Collection marries functionality with cool colors and fun designs for just the right balance between classic and contemporary. Let’s take a look!
Set a beautiful table with these Mickey Mouse Icon Indigo Plates. They’re ceramic and dishwaser- and microwave-safe, so they’re as practical as they are pretty.
The coordinating Petite Soup Bowls carry the same cool color scheme in patterns that aren’t too matchy matchy. I love the variety in the set of three. [Read more…]

So. much. cute.
Have you seen the latest Jerrod Maruyama mugs on any of your own Disney trips this year? I most recently noticed these in Epcot’s Mouse Gears, but you can also find them in Magic Kingdom’s Emporium — or just about anywhere on Disney property that sells mugs, basically.
Jerrod Maruyama is the artist behind the Hipster Mickey line, among others, and he’s super fun to follow on Instagram. But what I really like about these mugs in particular is the way his designs pick up on some truly iconic Disney moments and images.
For instance, the Pinocchio Mug features so many memorable moments from the film. I can’t help but think of the artwork in Pinocchio Village Haus when I look at it.
Like the others, the amount of detail packed into the Bambi Mug is pretty incredible. Plus, it’s somewhat hard to find Bambi merchandise in the parks, so points for that, too!
I know it’s inspired completely by the film, but the colors of the Dumbo Mug remind me of life under the circus tent at Big Top Treats.
I’ve saved my favorite for last: the Disneyland Mug. It shows Disney characters enjoying [Read more…]

When the Marketplace Co-op opened up in Downtown Disney’s Marketplace last year, it was clear that Disney had taken steps to create some kitchen and home merchandise that really spoke to Disney fans through the Disney Centerpiece shop, with much of it focused on vintage designs from the earliest days of Disneyland and Disney World.
Things only continued to get better when Memento Mori — the first shop dedicated entirely to the Haunted Mansion — opened later in the year.
The thing is, so much great stuff came out last year, that it was almost hard to take it all in! So I don’t think I realized how cool these vintage attraction poster mugs are until I got to check them out in more detail on my most recent Disney World trip. These days, you can also find them in other places outside of the Co-op, like Magic Kingdom’s Confectionery.
Each mug has four attraction posters on it, so you’re looking at different views of the same four mugs in the pictures below (just click on any of the images to enlarge).
The first blue mug on the left features absolute favorites and classics across the board, from Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, as well as the Monorail System.
You’ll notice the purple mug is entirely dedicated to Fantasyland (including Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, which is [Read more…]
With cooler temperatures on the rise (wait… that’s not right 😉 ), it’s that time of year to curl up with a warm beverage in your favorite mug! Of course, it happens to coincide with the time of year to think of gift-giving (and receiving!). So let’s take a look at some super fun Disney mugs that hit the scene in a veritable Mug-a-palooza! If you’d like to get a little shopping done while you’re at it, just click any of the links below…
Okay, I don’t know how much she’ll help you against the chill, but this purple Elsa Mug captures the Frozen Queen quite nicely…
For Halloween, Christmas, or anytime of year, really, you gotta love this awesome Sally from the Nightmare Before Christmas Mug!
“Red 5 standing by.” Leave it to Luke Skywalker… not only is he preparing for the Deathstar Battle, he’s also serving up your morning cuppa joe as a Mug version of himself!
It’s a three-fer! This set of Star Wars Stackable Mugs let’s you twist-and-match Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and a Stormtrooper.
This festive Mickey Mouse Mug comes with its own spoon to stir an extra dollop (or two!) of whipped cream into [Read more…]

Not only can you pick up cool gear for your spring break trip, but there are some rad food finds (of course!) on sale too! In fact, we even found a few things to mark the debut of Oz The Great and Powerful, set to open next month!
Read on for the awesomeness!
Everyone needs a little Disney in their kitchen. Whether you’re the “subtle” Mickey Mouse type or the “shout it from the rooftops” Disney fan, we’ve got some awesome goodies for you…
I’ve NEVER seen this Disney Kitchen Canister before, and I love it. It has a Mickey chalkboard that allows you to write the contents in chalk! What?! Awesome.
And the sweet little spoon is a bonus! I need a whole set — one for flour and for sugar and for tea and…and…and…(COOKIES!) 🙂
I get it. You don’t necessarily want a giant Cinderella Castle painted on your kitchen wall. That’s cool, and this Pot Holder and Oven Mitt Set can easily remind you of the Happiest Place on Earth without cramping your style!
Seriously? I cannot wait for this film to come out. I mean, come on. I played Dorothy in my kindergarten production of Wizard of Oz…it’s like fate or something. Anyway, be the first one at your office to sport some Oz awesomeness with these…
If you’re a bit testy first thing in the morning, this Wicked Witch of the West Mug might be just the chalice for you.
I could get used to seeing James Franco’s face on my mug of tea, couldn’t you? The flying monkey on this The Wizard Mug is a nice bonus.
Can’t decide which of the witches you like the best? Have all three on this Witches of Oz Mug. And just for fun: let your co-workers know which witch they’re dealing with by [Read more…]
