Planning on being in Walt Disney World this month? If so, we bet you wanna know about the BEST things to do while you’re there!
The last full month of Summer is here, but don’t you worry, those sweltering Central Florida temperatures will stick around for a while! Many things are returning this month. There’s a new after-hours event to attend and there’s a delicious food festival going on. So let’s get into the best things to do in Disney World in August!
Who’s ready for Halloween in Disney World?!
As fall approaches, we’re preparing for the start of BOO Bash, the 50th Anniversary, and new nighttime firework shows (R.I.P Happily Ever After). But we’re not the only ones preparing as fall decorations have already started popping up in Magic Kingdom! Overnight, Disney’s classic spooky (and adorable) pumpkins arrived on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom!
Spooky season will be happening in Disney World before we know it!
We know, it’s only July, but Disney starts celebrating EARLY. The first night of BOO Bash (which is replacing Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year) is August 10th. With that being less than 3 weeks away, and not a pumpkin in sight yet, we’re wondering when we might see Halloween decorations start showing up in Magic Kingdom.
There are some things in Disney World that the average guest won’t ever see!
From fireworks shows to general maintenance, it takes a lot of work to keep the parks magical for guests. And that involves several things that only happen once the parks are already closed for the day! Let’s peek behind the closed gates and see what happens late each night in Disney World.
It’s officially SPOOKY SEASON in Disney World!
We may not be able to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year, but that doesn’t mean the holiday is going to pass unnoticed! We confirmed with Cast Members that Magic Kingdom would still be decorating for Halloween.
Yesterday, more holiday decor had started to trickle in, but as of today, Magic Kingdom has officially received its Halloween makeover!
It’s NEVER too early to start thinking about Halloween!
Although the 2020 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was canceled this year, that doesn’t mean that we can’t gear up for some Halloween fun at home! So, while you’re streaming the 2019 Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Fireworks, get ready to get shopping. Disney just dropped a TON of new Halloween merch online, so let’s take a look at the costumes, spirit jerseys, and MORE!
