When it comes to travel, a mask mandate has been in place for anyone traveling on public transportation (including on airplanes) in the United States, and today a big update to this mask mandate could affect your next flight. This change comes after a Florida judge voided the mask mandate on public transportation.

Another COVID-19 Change Is Quietly Going Back to Normal in Disney World

Over the past 2 years, we’ve seen a variety of requirements and regulations throughout Disney World due to the ongoing global pandemic. When the parks first reopened in July of 2020, temperature screenings were in effect, as well as physical distancing and mandatory face masks almost everywhere. That has now changed to masks being optional in most locations for vaccinated guests, with some exceptions (such as on enclosed transportation).

Another health and safety measure we’ve seen around Disney World is plexiglass barriers up in a lot of spots where guests would be close to each other or to a Cast Member. Some of that has been removed, but some has remained up in the parks, so let’s take a look at the current plexiglass situation in Disney World!

NEW COVID-19 “Test to Treat” Initiative Announced by the U.S. President

NEWS: Hong Kong Disneyland Has Extended Its Closure

What Happens If You FORGET Your Face Mask Before Getting on Disney World’s Monorail

Changes can happen virtually overnight in Disney World; guidelines, attractions, and even decorations can change in the blink of an eye! Sometimes, a MAJOR change can take months to work out, but in many cases, guests are expected to adapt immediately. It can be tricky to keep up!

Speaking of changes, Disney recently updated its health and safety guidelines (again), making face masks optional both indoors and outdoors for vaccinated guests. There is still one instance where face masks are required, but Disney’s got you covered (literally) if you forget!
