You’ve likely heard about how wonderful, yet expensive, The Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s BoardWalk is, but we can say that after dining in both the restaurant and visiting the bakery multiple times, in most cases, we find the higher price to be worth the experience.

We’ve found THE BEST chicken tenders on Disney World property!

While we’re usually pretty ecstatic when we hear about a new menu item at the location, words can’t express how curious and thrilled we were to hear that the restaurant just added chicken tenders to its menu! We grabbed a reservation ASAP to try them out, and let’s just say, these might be the BEST chicken tenders in the entirety of Disney World.

But lately, we’ve noticed a very specific change happening across restaurants and snack stands, and honestly? We’re obsessed with it. Disney World has quietly started a new food trend: taking one wildly popular, familiar item and remixing it into multiple versions across the parks and resorts. Instead of introducing totally brand-new snacks that guests might skip, Disney is leaning into foods people already love… and then making them impossible to ignore. Think of it like a food scavenger hunt, and we want more.

We love hearing about new restaurants opening up around the Orlando area, because, hey, while we are DISNEY Food Blog, we also love exploring options outside the park and around the city, so you know where to eat if you’re exploring!

We were invited to check out a new spot that just opened up about half an hour from Disney Springs, and when we heard it had a focus on chicken and sauces, we said YES, PLEASE! Saucy! by KFC has just opened in Orlando, and if you like bold flavors, you’ve gotta give it a try.

We finally know what is going on with the abandoned NBA Experience building in Disney Springs!

In case you missed it, the former home of both DisneyQuest and the NBA Experience will soon be home to a new tenant, LEVEL99! Previously, a permit was filed for demolition of the building, but we are so happy to hear something new will be taking up residence. LEVEL99 is an interactive, social entertainment experience known for its challenge rooms, and the location at Disney Springs will be its fifth location and first in Florida.

We are so excited about this new addition that we went to another LEVEL99 location to try some of their menu items before their opening at Disney World!
