Though the Rivers of Light evening spectacular coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom has been delayed indefinitely from its originally scheduled date of April 22nd, nighttime celebrations will be ON at the park as of Memorial Day Weekend.

Animal Kingdom’s first signature restaurant, Tiffins, will open for lunch and dinner along with the adjacent Nomad Lounge on Memorial Day Weekend. Further information regarding the availability of Advance Dining Reservations for Tiffins will be made available on May 20th. (Reservations will not be needed for Nomad Lounge.)

On offer will be global dishes like Berbere-Spiced Lamb Chop with Mustard Greens and Lentil Stew and Mint Chutney representing African cuisine. Berkshire Pork Tenderloin with Huitlacoche Tamale as well as Hominy Succotash and Red Mole Sauce will represent South America, and Miso-glazed Black Cod with Forbidden Rice in Steamed Bok Choy with Turmeric Sauce will represent Asian cuisine.
