We’ve been keeping up with policy changes and new cancellations for the last couple of months. Now, Adventures by Disney has extended its Date Change Policy once more and automatically extended final payments for some upcoming trips.
Like most other parts of the Walt Disney Company, Adventures by Disney has seen significant effects from the global health crisis.

Some limits on international travel are still in effect, so Adventures by Disney has made some changes to their Temporary Change of Date Policy to accommodate guests affected by any cancellations. With most departures canceled through the end of October, Adventures by Disney has extended their Change of Date Policy through November.
As the ongoing global health crisis continues, Adventures by Disney has had to cancel many of their departures.

According to its website, more departures have just been suspended through the end of October.

Guests have been offered a 100% credit to be used for future Adventure by Disney vacations. Disney has now updated their conditions to include more flexible payment conditions for those who have been affected by the suspensions. [Read more…]

Although Disney Cruise Line has yet to cancel any more of their U.S. departures, Adventures By Disney has now canceled most of its departures through September 30th.

Back in March, Adventures by Disney cancelled all departures through July 31st and guests were eligible to receive a 100% cancellation credit towards a future adventure.

Earlier this month, the suspension of all Adventures by Disney departures was extended to the end of August, and just recently, it has been pushed back again.
Even as some Disney offerings are beginning to reopen, we’re still seeing a pattern of rolling cancellations for others.

Adventures by Disney is an offering that has taken a significant hit. Unlike the Disney theme parks, the program relies on other travel agencies and organizations — not to mention international travel. Last month, it was announced that all Adventures by Disney departures would be suspended through the end of July, and now that suspension has been extended another month.
