Believe it or not, it’s halfway to Halloween!
It’s almost Halloween!
And we KNOW Disney loves celebrating this spooky holiday. For special treats to rare characters, Halloween in the parks is a time like no other. But tomorrow, May 7th, we’re getting a little taste of fall BACK in Disney World! And we couldn’t be more excited, guys.
Due to the global pandemic, things have looked a bit different around Disney this holiday season, and there were some changes during Halloween time as well.

While we got Halloween cavalcades, fun merchandise, and spooky decor, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was canceled this year and we definitely missed it! Ever wonder what the 2020 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party merchandise would have looked like and wish that you have had the chance to buy some of it? Well, if you live in the Orlando area, you can NOW buy 1 piece of 2020 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party merchandise from the parties that could have been!
It’s almost the most FRIGHTFUL time of the year and we are SO ready.

Still, we can’t help but feel like we’re missing out on a big piece of our Halloween with the cancellation of this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World. Well, since we can’t hug Jack Skellington or plunder with pirates on an extra-spooky ride on Pirates of the Caribbean, we’re throwing our OWN Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party right here and YOU’RE the guest of honor!
We may not be able to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year, but does that mean we won’t get any Halloween decorations in the parks at all?

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom
Perhaps the BIGGEST change is that we won’t be hangin’ with our villainous Disney pals this Halloween. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has been canceled this year. Now, those who have purchased tickets to the event will receive refunds.
While tickets for the 2020 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties went on sale in February, we haven’t heard very much on the subject of Disney World’s spookiest season since then!

With so many changes happening right now regarding Disney World’s reopening, including a new reservation system, including suspending all Fastpass+ and dining reservations, and canceling all Disney Dining Plans through 2021 (not to mention you can’t purchase park tickets or book a room at Disney World right now), what could this mean for Magic Kingdom’s annual Halloween celebration?
