Caring for Giants is an hour-long experience that offers guests a closer look at the African elephants that call Animal Kingdom home!
Elephants
Guests meet with a dedicated Guide and learn about the day-to-day care for the park’s African elephants and other fun facts.
Participants will have views of the elephants from 80 – 100 feet away throughout the experience, which offers a closer vantage point than other tours and attractions in the park.

Location and Check-in
Disney’s Animal Kingdom; Check-in takes place (at least 15 minutes prior) at the Curiosity Animal Tours kiosk just outside the entrance to the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction. This is where you’ll meet your guides, put your belongings in lockers, and have all the requirements and rules explained to you.

A 60-minute experience with a dedicated Guide featuring views of the elephants from 80-100 feet away throughout.

Time
Caring for Giants is offered multiple times daily, sometimes as often as every hour (and possibly every half hour), typically starting at 9AM. Availability may vary, though, so interested guests should check the Disney World website to verify time offerings for their preferred date.

Additional Information
- Valid Admission into Animal Kingdom Park is required, but not included
- This experience is held outdoors, so clothing should be planned accordingly (including comfortable shoes).
- Guests must be at least 4 years of age, and all guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- No photography or videography is allowed in backstage areas; however, it is allowed in non-backstage areas.
- Cancellation must be made at least 24 hours before your tour to avoid forfeiting the entire price of the experience.
- Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members are eligible for a discount. Bring your discount identification!
- All proceeds from this tour go to elephant conservation.
