There’s nothing like settling into your Disney World hotel room and turning on the TV to watch Disney Resort TV. For some of us, we also remember a program that you could catch on Resort TV, “Must Do Disney.” In fact, the host of that show, Stacy Aswad, became one of our favorite people to watch.

Disney’s Avatar: Fire and Ash is heating up the box office right now at movie theaters across the world.

The third installment in the Avatar franchise, the film picks up a year after the events of Avatar: The Way of Water, with Jake and Sally as they work through grief and face new threats to their idyllic life on Pandora. Although the movie is playing in theaters now, we think we know when you’ll be able to watch it on streaming on Disney+.

REMINDER: A Huge Change Is Coming to Magic Kingdom SOON

This is going to be a HUGE year for change in Disney World, including Magic Kingdom. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is getting updated, while Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is getting a MASSIVE makeover. Construction has already started on the new Cars expansion in Frontierland, as well as on Villains Land, which will be going behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Cinderella Castle will also be changing soon, too: Disney previously announced that it would be getting a brand-new color scheme and that painting would begin soon, as in this month.

Happy New Year, DFB friends! We hope the year is treating you well, and we know you’re gearing up for some pretty awesome Disney things that are coming in 2026, including a TON of new shows and movies that the year will bring to Disney+.

One of those new shows is a new Marvel series, Wonder Man, and Marvel just dropped a new trailer that looks like a lot of fun. Even better? Wonder Man will debut THIS MONTH. So if you’ve been needing a Marvel fix, you’ll be able to satisfy it sooner than you thought.

You’ll Always Find Me at My Disney World Hotel at 2 PM — Here’s Why

The one thing that blows my mind is that when people plan a Disney World vacation, they’re not just paying for tickets to the theme parks, but they’re also paying for a hotel room that many folks rarely see, except maybe at night.

I’m not one of those people, though. Now, I have certainly done the parks from rope drop to park close, but when I do this, I feel like I’ve wasted money on a hotel room I’m barely seeing. Oh, and I’m usually in pain…and I’m exhausted. So instead of making myself do that, I almost ALWAYS leave the parks around 2 PM to take a break in my hotel room that I paid good money for.
