Psst. We’re at ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. For those who are new here, hi, we’re Disney Food Blog, and we talk about Disney food. A lot of it. We also check in on Disney restaurants every so often to see if the food is still worth recommending. Now, some Disney World restaurants have reached ICON status and make the “must-visit” lists for any new Disney visitor. But it’s our job to make sure they still deserve a spot on that “must-visit” list!
‘Ohana bread pudding
‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has that kind of reputation, although — let’s face it — this restaurant has changed a lot over the past five years. But has it changed so much that it no longer deserves its “must-visit” status? Well, let’s go find out!
Although a lot of folks are making their way to the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival before it ends on November 22nd, we want to make sure you know about Disney World’s OTHER festival…the one that doesn’t require you to buy a park ticket. If you’ve ever been interested in attending the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic, this might be a great year to do so…even MORE new food is coming to the event this year.
Food and Wine Classic
Recently, we got a sneak preview of this year’s event, and we’re going to tell you about the BEST food and drinks you need to grab when you’re there.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a massive state of transition, headlined by a BRAND NEW Monsters, Inc. that’s going to recreate Monstropolis in all its terrifying glory. However, something about the land has us terrified… and not in the way Mike and Sully would want us to be.

The land is going to be headlined by a long-awaited suspended coaster ride based on the doors scene in the movie! We’ve only wanted that ride FOREVER, and it’s going to be the FIRST suspended coaster in Disney history, so we should be ecstatic! However, the more we think about it, the more we’re worried about that ride. We’ll tell you why.
Okay, so Disney is always working on bring new movies to theaters, because, well, that’s what Disney does!

That’s also how the movie business rolls, and Disney is always announcing new projects, even with certain actors already attached, although not every project actually makes its way to the red carpet. Making movies is HARD, y’all. But we wanted to look at every movie Disney has teased recently, just to give you an idea of what may be in the works.

We’ve also been keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus, so let’s see what’s changed this week. Warning: Two popular Disney Springs restaurants, The BOATHOUSE and Paddlefish, have both removed and added new menu items this week (more on that in a bit). Let’s take a look!
