During a panel, Disney made the announcement that changes are coming to a fan-favorite attraction in Magic Kingdom. After three decades, Carousel of Progress is getting an update!
We’re rolling, people — quiet on the set! In this scene, a group of Disney’s biggest fans sits in quiet anticipation as a fancy executive walks on stage. Then, they break the news that a new movie is coming soon, and the audience erupts in cheers. Aaaand, cut! That’s a wrap. Oh, and guess what? That little story we directed for you is actually pretty realistic. In fact, it just happened!

On August 29th, Disney World reported a massive wave of ride closures across the property. The closures were reported in the evening, around 5 PM, and many attractions are still down at this time.
