We have been watching the construction of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure over in Magic Kingdom for a while now.

We have seen the water tower go up, new stone walkways for the queues be put in, and even more construction walls go up. Though we have a while to go until the estimated completion in 2024, we still get excited about every new detail we get about this ride. Now, we just got a new look INSIDE of the attraction.

Christmastime in Magic Kingdom
Of course, Disney World has had their decorations up since early November so we’ve been in the holiday spirit for a while now. We have been able to enjoy delicious treats and the huge gingerbread displays at all of the resorts. While there is so much fun to be found at Disney World this time of year, it’s not all sugar plums and candy canes. There is a massive downside to coming to the parks this time of year.
Have we mentioned how much we love spending time at Disney’s Polynesian Resort? Because we do!

The tropical atmosphere really transports you to another land. We love grabbing a Dole Whip from Pineapple Lanai, walking on the beaches, or eating the pork nachos from Capt. Cook’s. Also, the bars at this Disney hotel are amazing — Tambu Lounge, Barefoot Pool Bar, and, of course, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto. We always seem to have a good time here, but on our recent visit, we had a very magical moment happen.
EPCOT is celebrating the holidays in big and little ways.

There is EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays happening now, which celebrates different holiday traditions around the world. Of course, we’ve seen the incredible holiday overlay of Living with the Land. But there is one adorable part of EPCOT that is celebrating the holidays, and you are probably walking right past the decorations.

Bob Iger, Disney’s CEO, has been in the news for comments on Disney’s “Woke” agenda and his exit as CEO in 2026. There are also the public comments that Elon Musk, CEO of X/Twitter, has made about Bob Iger, like, “He should be fired immediately.” Now, Disney is losing $105 Million from an investor.
We have been keeping a close watch on the new Zootopia land coming to Shanghai Disney soon.

Iger recently commented on Disney’s “woke agenda,” causing some stir in the news. He also recently confirmed his 2026 exit from the company. But what really has started to make waves was his decision to pull advertising from X (formerly Twitter), and Elon Musk fired back. There has been a lot said, so we’re here to summarize what Musk has said about Iger.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Specifically, over at Magic Kingdom, we are excited about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opening. This new attraction is based on Disney’s The Princess and the Frog (2009) and will take you on a musical adventure with Princess Tiana and Louis as they prepare for a Mardis Gras performance. We’ve been monitoring the construction progress that is being made, and on our recent day at Magic Kingdom, we found quite a few improvements that have been added.
