In a meeting with the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District, plans were brought up for the next 20 or so years of Disney World, and while nothing is confirmed, words like “new minor theme park” and “new major theme park” are being mentioned in documents. What does this really mean? Let’s take a look!
We’ll be the first to say it: EPCOT is BIG. Like, “Oh my goodness, how many more countries are there?” big.
EPCOT
One way to shorten your trip around the world is to use Disney’s transportation. No, there’s no secret monorail or Skyliner inside EPCOT that will take you to where you need to go, but throughout the World Showcase Lagoon, there are boats called the FriendShip Boats to help you get across EPCOT. Lately, we’ve noticed something is a little different about them.

A hot day in Magic Kingdom
According to CNN, a “heat wave is underway for the eastern half of the United States as a potent heat dome reaches its peak,” creating the hottest temperatures we’ve seen this year, so far.
Disney has been updating their dining reservation system, and we are HERE for it!
Cinderella’s Royal Table is one of the hardest reservations to grab!
They previously made updates to allow for more filters when searching for dining reservations, like wider areas, cuisine type, and character dining. They’re even letting you view multiple restaurants at a time for reservation times, and now it’s even easier to find a dining reservation.

We went to STK Steakhouse at Disney Springs to try their “Steak Night America” prix fixe menu (available Sunday through Thursday for $69 per person), and honestly? It might be one of the best hidden deals in Disney Springs. You just have to know to ask for it, because there is zero signage and no mention of it on the regular menu. This huge restaurant is a great place to stop before heading deep into the World Showcase, and we love grabbing a meal here before we move to snack after snack. We tried two new bites, and we’re dropping all the details to see if you need to book that park reservation immediately!
Stop what you’re doing because we found the CUTEST thing to ever happen in Magic Kingdom. We know that’s a pretty big statement, but trust us, once we saw this, we knew everyone had to see it.
