food IS a theme park
Christmas is known to be one of the busiest holidays at Disney World, bringing in tons of families from all over looking to celebrate a Florida holiday. Wait times go up, Lightning Lane prices increase and sell out, and transportation lines are long — or, it used to be like this.
In the past few years, we’ve noticed that the crowds around Christmas aren’t as bad as we’re used to. That’s not saying that there is a small number of people, or that you’ll be able to walk onto any attraction you want, but the wall-to-wall people we’ve seen before? It’s not really there. Is Disney World still busy during Christmas time? Let’s find out.
It’s the end of 2025, and we’re celebrating the best way we know how — with food! We love seasonal snacks, and Disney dropped a few for us to try, and we’re sharing all the details here with you.
We headed to Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs to try the snacks and ring in the new year.
My favorite EPCOT festival is the Festival of the Arts, and I’m not afraid to say it! From artwork at every corner, some of the prettiest food of any festival, and Broadway performances, I really couldn’t ask for more. Despite not asking, Disney is giving us something else that I know is going to be POPULAR!
There are tons of artists who come and sell their Disney artwork during the festival, and some even sign them! Lucky for us, Disney added Tony Baxter as a featured artist.
You might be leaving your own chilly state to visit Florida this winter, and even though our cold is probably nowhere close to yours, it can still get pretty cold! We don’t have snow, but the water parks at Disney World can close due to the weather.
Beyond lightning storms and hurricanes, sometimes the weather is just too cold to have the water parks open. Only one of the two water parks at Disney World is open right now, but for the next two days, both parks will be closed.
Traveling light is a skill and a talent, one that we might not have mastered, but we’ve certainly gained some experience with. We love flying in for a quick trip to Disney World with only our carry-on, and we have a few tried-and-true bags that fit under the seat.
Whether you’re going for a weekend trip or just really hate the extra fees that come with checking your bag, you might want to consider one of these bags to make your next travel day even easier.
We’re at Disney all the time. Some of our team are local and visit every day, and others fly in, stay at hotels, and experience Disney World like a visitor. Because of this, we get a lot of great ideas for people visiting Disney World, and we love to share them here with you.
We pulled some of our favorite essentials that our team has bought, used, and loved, so you know what to add to your packing list before the best vacation ever.
Well, folks, it’s another holiday at Disney World, which means we need to check in on how many of y’all are in the parks right now. We all know holidays can get busy at Disney World since everyone has time off, but is this still true for 2025?
We’ve seen some weird holidays this year where it should have been packed like it has in years past, only to find that we could easily walk around, take the best castle photos, and ride our favorite attractions without any waits. On the other hand, random days have been packed wall to wall with people, which is making us scratch our heads and wonder how everyone got this time off. Is Christmas Eve 2025 one of those days? Let’s find out!
Let me let you in on a little secret — the best way to meet characters at Disney World is with character dining. I know, it can be expensive, but hear me out. Multiple characters, usually around four, come up to YOU at your table, so you don’t have to wait an hour in line for one character for the family to have a total meltdown by the time you actually meet the character. It also involves food, so you know I’m in.
Hollywood & Vine is one of those super cool character dining experiences where you can meet Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto (yes, you literally get to mark four characters off your list in one go) and dine on some fun food. Hollywood & Vine has seasonal changes, and we just got the dates for the next one.
We’re all for celebrating Disney anniversaries! We celebrated the 50th anniversary of Disney World for about two years, Disneyland’s 70th anniversary for a while, and even celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company for fun.
Tokyo DisneySea’s 25th anniversary runs from April 15th, 2026, to March 31st, 2027, but some experiences are starting early to get in some extra celebrating time.
