Yes, that’s right. If you’re new around here, my name is Kayleigh, and I used to work at the Haunted Mansion at Disney World. I always tell people that writing for the iconic Disney Food Blog is the best job I’ve ever had, but let’s be honest. It’s a tie between this job and my time at the Mansion. I was a Disney College Program participant in the fall of 2022, so I spend a LOT of my time missing Disney World and haunting the halls of the Spooky Haus. Lately, we’ve seen all sorts of snack-themed merchandise at Disney World — from the Disney Eats Stitch Attacks Snacks collection to a Disney Eats MACARON collection! If you loved the Macaron-themed souvenirs that popped up at Disney World recently but won’t be in the parks any time soon, we have great news for you. The collection is officially online!
When you think of the busiest times to vacation at Disney World (or anywhere) spring break season probably comes to mind.

Now that spring has officially arrived and March is well underway, it’s safe to say that we’re in the throes of spring break season. At the beginning of the month, we were greeted with dense crowds and even sold-out Genie+ — Disney’s skip-the-line service. However, those crowds have thankfully died down throughout the month! We’ve been pleasantly surprised by the lack of crowds in each of the parks as well as lower wait times. At first, we were thinking to ourselves, “HOW?! It’s spring break!” But now, we think we have an idea.

One of the best simple pleasures in life is visiting Costco and taking your pick of the grab-and-go food options.

They say that grocery shopping is best done with a full belly. Costco helps ya out with that issue by having a pretty impressive food court so that you can fill up your stomach before shopping. Although, we will admit that even when we grub before we shop, we still end up with unnecessary but delicious snacks. Anyway, have you ever wondered what Costco executives opt for out of the seemingly endless food court options? Well, we can’t say we have either, but now we know — and now we’re interested.
It’s our favorite time of the year! That’s right, we find that we truly thrive in the spring — especially when we’re visiting EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival.
Flower and Garden Festival
This year’s Flower and Garden Festival kicked off on February 28th and will run until May 27th. Right now, you can enjoy lots of spring-themed merchandise, food, and entertainment. This is one of our favorite EPCOT festivals, but your experience can be EVEN BETTER with a little extra planning. And believe us when we say that a little extra planning goes a long way. We’re going to assume that if you’re reading this, YOU want to plan your adventure through the festival. So, we’re here to teach you all the BEST things about the festival by showing you some of the WORST things we’ve seen folks do during their time there. Let’s go!
Now that we’re officially celebrating spring at Disney World, we’re starting to long for those slow evenings spent enjoying some fun drinks at our favorite restaurants.
The Boathouse
At Disney Springs, one of our favorite restaurants and cocktail spots is the Boathouse. The beach theme is perfect for when you just want to spend a couple hours relaxing and enjoying yourself, and the menu filled with steaks, chops, and seafood options only adds to the appeal! And, of course, there are plenty of specialty cocktails. Well, the Boathouse just shared on Instagram that they’ve recently added some MOCKTAILS to the menu, which is perfect for folks of all ages! Let’s check them out!
It’s widely known as the “Disney World of Gas Stations” for a reason.
Buc-ee’s
Yes, we’re here today to talk about Buc-ee’s! The iconic gas station was once a Texas-exclusive, but is now spreading like wildfire all over the southeast. What makes it so iconic, you ask? Well, for one — it’s HUGE. In true Texas fashion, it’s bigger than all its competitors and boasts over 100 gas pumps at most locations, car washes, roomy and clean restrooms, and so much food, snacks, and merchandise that it’s almost overwhelming. The chain has gone viral in recent years for the food, and while we’d had a few things here and there on roadtrips, we felt it was time to do an actual REVIEW now that a Buc-ee’s is being built in Central Florida. So, put on your stretchy pants, fasten your seatbelts, and let’s go to Buc-ee’s!
Disney World is a BIG place where LOTS of things happen on the daily. It can be hard to bring you “the most exciting” updates or highlights because there is truly just so much that occurs day in and day out.

That’s one of the reasons we love it so much! There always seems to be something NEW to do or see, and even when we’re doing the same park walks or rides that we do every day — each experience is just a little different. I guess what I’m trying to say is that Disney days are like snowflakes. No two are the same.
