The new frozen flight!
Over in Disney Springs, the shopping and dining district in Orlando, you’ll find some of the best snacks and sips at the resort. Honestly, too many people are skipping them! One of our favorite restaurants, Wine Bar George, has now given us the perfect way to cool down on those warm fall days.
The U.S. government shutdown began on October 1st, 2025, and, as of October 24th, has not ended. The shutdown is expected to impact travel domestically and internationally.
Orlando International Airport
Not only could this impact your trip to Disney World, but it could also impact travel almost anywhere within the United States if you’re flying. According to the Orlando Sentinel, TSA workers are ‘stretching every dollar’ as the shutdown continues, and it could cause major problems at the airport.

Taco Cookie Returning to Jollywood Nights in 2025!
Disney World just revealed the menus for Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios, and oh my gosh, if you haven’t already purchased tickets for the after-hours event, you’re going to want to right now. The event runs on select nights from November 8th to December 22nd, which is good because we’re going to need to take multiple trips to get in all this delicious food.
Tropical Storm Melissa is expected to turn into a major hurricane soon.

The tropical storm is drifting east-southeastward in the Caribbean and is being closely monitored as it develops. The storm is expected to cause catastrophic flooding and major landslides, per the National Hurricane Center.

We’re still celebrating the Food and Wine Festival, plus we have the Festival of the Holidays to look forward to before the year ends. While we aren’t trying to speed up time, we are ridiculously excited that Disney has finally confirmed the dates for the 2026 International Festival of the Arts!
It might only be October, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t making our holiday playlists, planning our Christmas meals, and daydreaming about decorations!

Zootopia: Better Zoogether is prepped to open on November 7th, 2025, and Disney has been slowly revealing more and more in the lead-up. They recently revealed the new attraction poster, and now, we’re ready to dress for the occasion thanks to the newest merchandise line!
