Disneyland Park is often considered the model theme park — offering plenty of good eats, great rides, and an unforgettable experience. While there’s no ride we consider totally off-limits, there are some attractions that are less forgiving, especially when you get up there in age. We don’t take the bumps like we did when we were teens, and motion sickness, a lesser willingness to let a ride drench us, and different needs all begin to play very real factors in our Disney day itineraries. In fact, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be home to plenty of those changes, including a notable closure set to begin in March 2026. EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays is about to wrap up on December 30th, and it’s been an excellent experience so far. With that said, we all know that when one EPCOT festival ends, another is getting ready to take over. Such is the case with the upcoming 2026 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, which is set to totally transform this Disney World theme park.
The new year is bringing tons of changes to Disney World — including some of its perks!
Typhoon Lagoon
We LOVE a good Disney World perk, and Disney World gave us a really useful hotel perk in 2025 that allows any guest staying at a Disney World resort hotel FREE ENTRY into one of Disney’s two water parks. While the perk was available year-round in 2025, that’s about to change beginning next week.
