There have been a lot of exciting new things to see and do in the Downtown Disney District! While the theme parks remain closed at the Disneyland Resort, guests can still shop and dine at the many locations throughout Downtown Disney as well as Buena Vista Street, which reopened last month!

Disney Springs has a few new SWEET spots opening soon, like Gideon’s Bakehouse and a brand-new M&M Store.

We’ve also been keeping a watchful eye on the construction happening over at Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew, which was showing some signs of progress on our most recent visit!
As Downtown Disney continues to welcome guests to the Disneyland Resort, a series of shopping events have taken place at the former location of ESPN Zone. These reservation-only events are an opportunity for guests to more easily purchase high-demand merchandise items!

Recent events have included items from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge as well as the upcoming Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure! Shoppers will have another chance to collect limited-release merchandise items next week, and reservations are available now!

We have all the latest info you’ll need to know if you’re heading to the parks, including park hours as well as current Disney Park Pass Reservation availability!
While theme parks are barred from reopening in California until their resident county reaches the least restrictive reopening tier, shopping centers can reopen. And in Orange County, where Disneyland is located, the Downtown Disney District has been able to stay open for guests since July, with Buena Vista Street adding more shopping and some dining options last month.

It looks like we now have even more places to shop ’til we drop, because as of today, another store has reopened as part of the Buena Vista Street extension!
The holiday season has been in full swing at the Disney World Resort for about a month now, and we’re STILL trying new snacks that are just starting to arrive in the parks! As recently as yesterday we were stopping by AristoCrepes in Disney Springs to try their newest menu addition, the Santa Crepe!

We also had to pack our patience for another holiday treat to appear at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and our fingers were crossed that the Santa Mickey Mousse from Creature Comforts would be worth the wait!
Most of us have very fond memories of extinct rides from Disney Word’s past like The Great Movie Ride, Maelstrom, etc., but there are other rides that you may have COMPLETELY forgotten about!
