Part of the perks of staying on-property at Disney World are the fun hotel activities!
When you think of Disney World hotels, you probably picture themed rooms, amazing pools, and easy transportation to the parks—and you’re not wrong. Whether you’re staying at a Value, Moderate, or Deluxe Resort, Disney hotels are packed with little perks and hidden gems that go way beyond just being a place to rest your tired legs after a long day at the parks. From Movies Under the Stars to fun-filled pool parties and surprise character sightings, there’s always something extra to do. But what if we told you that you are missing out on extending your vacation for just $25?
The Disney blues are about to set in. You’ve packed up, checked out of your Disney hotel room, and now you’ve got a few hours to kill before your bus to the airport arrives. What now? Here’s a little secret: Disney hotel arcades are the perfect spot to hang out, stay cool, and squeeze in just a little more fun before you officially say goodbye to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Pop Century Arcade
Nearly every Disney World resort hotel has one, and they’re filled with everything — from Disney-themed pinball machines to racing games to photo booths where you can grab one last magical souvenir.
To play, you’ll need to grab an arcade card. These can be found at a machine right inside the arcade, and you can load it up with play points to use it like a game pass.
The pricing is actually pretty decent: $1 gets you 50 play points, $5 gets you 275 points, and $25 gets you 2,000 points. The more you load, the better the deal. Most of the games cost anywhere from 20 to 100 points per play, depending on what kind of game it is. If you’re doing the math, a $5 card will get you at least a few solid rounds at different games—and probably keep your kids busy long enough to avoid the dreaded “I’m bored” complaint.

Pricing for Arcade Cards
You’ll find everything from classic games like air hockey to more modern stuff like interactive racing games and, yes, themed pinball machines. Some of the arcades even have digital photo booths that you can use your play points for, so why not squeeze in for one more silly group shot to remember your vacation?

So many game options
This is one of our go-to tips for checkout day. It’s easy, it’s fun, it doesn’t involve standing in the sun with all your bags, and it lets you stretch the magic just a little bit longer.
Pro tip: if you have play points left over, the arcade cards are reusable — so hang on to them for your next trip!
