REVIEW: We’ll Never Say No to a Drink at EPCOT’s GEO-82, and These New Options Are Worth a Visit

When we’re at EPCOT, we love hitting GEO-82, the iconic bar inside Spaceship Earth! It has great drinks, tasty snacks, and an intimate, adults-only atmosphere.

Clarified Bee’s Knees at GEO-82

So when we saw that they added a new drink and a small bite to the menu, we had to try them!

To drink, we got the Clarified Bee’s Knees for $25. This drink is made with Barr Hill Reserve Tom Cat Gin, honey syrup, and thyme, then garnished with a lemon. Our server told us they make their own honey syrup with honey from the bees on Disney property — the ones that eat the gingerbread houses — so they got a second job!

This was super refreshing, with no strong alcohol bite. The gin has a much deeper, warmer flavor profile than most gins since it’s barrel-aged for three months in oak. The honey adds a light floral flavor, and the subtle thyme helps the honey flavor pop. The lemon provides a clean balance, making it a middle ground between tart and sweet. We’d recommend this to someone looking for a lighter or less alcohol-forward pick.

To snack, we tried the Jamón Ibérico Croquetas for $22. These are deep-fried croquetas stuffed with jamón ibérico (a Spanish pork) and béchamel sauce that’s topped with tomato gazpacho, sea salt, and sorrel leaves.

These are served on a cute little ceramic pillow, which made it a 10 out of 10 for presentation. These had a super crunchy outside with a silky béchamel center and tiny bits of iberico spread throughout. These were super light and airy, but had a substantial bite that left us feeling full!
