EPCOT’s International Flower & Garden Festival has been underway for just about a month now, and we’ve loved getting to try all the new menu items this year, as well as revisit some of our favorites.
If you’re heading to the festival starting tomorrow, though, you need to know that there’s a menu change about to take place. Don’t worry, it’s not bad, it’s actually something we love most about this particular booth!
Over at Farmers Feast, which is located inside CommuniCore Hall, there are actually THREE menus you can experience throughout the festival, but they don’t overlap. On select days, the menu entirely switches over from one menu to the other, all reflecting what part of the spring season we’re in.
The first menu to debut was the Early Bloom menu, which is available from March 4th through April 5th, and includes:
- Grilled Asparagus with pancetta bacon, spring peas, frisée lettuce, truffle sherry vinaigrette, and soft-poached egg — $5.49, DDP snack credit eligible
- Scallop with spring pea risotto, lemon-beurre blanc, and gremolata — $8.19, DDP snack credit eligible
- Blueberry Crumble Cake with blueberry-lemon zest soft-serve and blueberry compote — $4.79, DDP snack credit eligible
That means that tomorrow, April 6th, a NEW menu debuts! This is the Springtime Menu, and is available from April 6th through May 10th. This menu includes:
- Heirloom Tomatoes and Fresh Mozzarella with shallot vinaigrette, sourdough croutons, pesto, micro basil, and balsamic pearls — $5.19
- Grilled Beef Strip Loin with tomato risotto, tomato beurre blanc, and basil pesto — $8.79
- Peach Cobbler with cinnamon gelato and streusel topping — $4.79
None of these menu items are new; we’ve seen them at this booth before, but we’re looking forward to trying them again! Sometimes, there are EPCOT booth items that improve from year to year, or unfortunately aren’t as good, and it’s important to us to give them a try and let you know how they are THIS year.
