McDonald's Teases NEW Happy Meal Toys — This Time For ADULTS!

BIG news for not only McDonald’s fans, but also those out there who still can’t get enough of the KPop Demon Hunters film, and have still been listening to the soundtrack nonstop (fun fact: it’s us).

Previously, McDonald’s has had adult Happy Meals for limited times, and now, they’re bringing it back. This time, there are TWO adult Happy Meals, and both of them are themed to none other than KPop Demon Hunters!

Starting on March 31st, McDonald’s will begin serving TWO new adult Happy Meals in the United States, but according to responses on their Instagram account, the meals may also be available in additional countries as well. Not only will you be able to try out the two meals, but they’ll also come with exclusive photocards that unlock first-access content for a limited time.

The breakfast meal available is The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal, which comes with:

Spicy Saja McMuffin: A Sausage McMuffin® with Egg, topped with a peppery Spicy Saja Sauce — inspired by the fire of Gwi-Ma
Hash Browns: Signature hash browns, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside — just like the Saja Boys’ leader Jinu
Small Soft Drink

You can also grab The HUNTR/X Meal, which includes:

10-pc. Chicken McNuggets
Medium Soft Drink
Ramyeon McShaker™ Fries: A spicy, umami spin on our World Famous Fries® featuring a soy, garlic, sesame and spice seasoning — inspired by Rumi, Mira and Zoey’s go-to snack
Hunter Sauce: A sweet chili sauce mixing notes of chili, garlic and pepper with just enough heat inspired by HUNTR/X’s fierce, yet fun-loving personalities
Demon Sauce: A bold mustard sauce with heat and tang — made purple, just like demon patterns

When talking about the partnership, Marian Lee, Chief Marketing Officer of Netflix, said, “With McDonald’s, we were able to turn the rivalry between The Saja Boys and HUNTR/X into something fans can actually experience, drawing inspiration from Korean culture and food traditions that sit at the heart of the film.” Each meal comes with a collectible card pack that includes an exclusive photocard for either HUNTR/X or the Saja Boys, as well as a Derby access card. Fans will want to scan the QR code on each Derpy access card and enter the unique code on the McDonald’s App by April 26th to unlock first access to exclusive content and a special reveal of the group that wins the Battle for the Fans!

That’s not all, either! The Derpy McFlurry will also be released on March 31st, which will be available on its own. It’s creamy vanilla soft served with berry popping pearls, and enrobed in a wild berry sauce.
