Get out the popcorn, Disney has dropped some major movie news!

During its Shareholder Meeting on March 18th, 2026, Disney shared all kinds of news. But there was a very special announcement made for movie fans — a BRAND-NEW look has been shared of an upcoming Disney film, and it’s one that we’ve been looking forward to for a LONG time!
During the Shareholder Meeting, Disney dropped a new look at the upcoming Toy Story 5 film, in which we meet the antagonist of this new film — Lilypad! She’s a new tablet that Bonnie has been gifted, and she’s always listening.
Woody is not seen in this sneak peek — instead, it’s Jessie who’s in charge in Bonnie’s room! She hops up to ask Lilypad some questions, and that’s where the toys really see all that she can do. She’s always listening, records their voices, and can play it back in new languages or change them into something entirely new, like a rap.

We loved getting to see other familiar faces in this sneak peek, such as Forky (and what looks to be his girlfriend/wife), Bullseye, Buzz, Trixie, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, Hamm, and so many more. One of our favorite parts of the sneak peek was seeing Mr. Pricklepants say “This concerns me ethically,” when talking about Lilypad and her capabilities — hilarious, and very relatable!
