Things are starting to heat up in Disney World as spring approaches, and that means having a water bottle that will keep your water cold all day is VERY important (because drinking hot water on a hot day? Yeah, that’s much harder to get yourself to do).
We’ve tried out SO many water bottles in Disney World in all different seasons, and there are only TWO that we find ourselves being consistently impressed by, and our team members even use them in the parks on their personal days when they’re not reporting. If you’re heading into the parks this spring and summer and need a water bottle that will absolutely keep your water ice cold all day, these are the two we recommend!
Owalas!
Starting off very strong, we have the Owala water bottles! There are so many different designs out there, but it doesn’t matter in our experience — each one does a fantastic job, but we do love that there are Disney-themed Owalas out there! Not only does it do a great job keeping your water cold and ice from melting throughout the day, but we’re big fans of the spout at the top. You can use the straw inside the water bottle, or the gulp feature, and the soft close spout locks with the handle to ensure it doesn’t open and spill as you go about your park day. Hooray for no accidental germs!
It’s also easy to take it apart to clean, which is another big deal for us. One of our biggest pet peeves with water bottles, other than ease of cleaning, is when water bottles sweat on the outside, and the condensation gets over everything. The Owalas don’t have that issue, so you won’t need to worry about everything else in your bag getting wet because of it. Having it on our park days definitely makes our lives easier, and it isn’t as much of a struggle to keep ourselves hydrated.
Stanley IceFlow For The Win
If you’re not an Owala person, the Stanley IceFlow is another fantastic choice that we have never regretted using in the parks. It also does a great job keeping water nice and cold throughout the day, and doesn’t struggle with sweating either. This one is even EASIER to clean than the Owalas, which is saying something, and since the handle flips down, it’s very easy to carry around.
Now, if you’re worried about germs, there’s nothing covering one side of the spout, so that’s one thing to keep in mind, but if you’re looking for a water bottle that will really keep ice cold for hours, this is the way to go!
