Bonjour from France (in EPCOT that is)!
The 2026 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival has officially started, and you know we love to do all there is to offer here. We’re trying all of the food booths with tasty items, admiring the unique topiaries, and checking out all of the exclusive merchandise to grab. There are even concerts to watch. I know that sounds like a lot, but DFB has got you covered! We’re heading to Fleur de Lys in the France pavilion to check it out.
Menu
Over at the Fleur de Lys, you’ll find a variety of available items that all sound delicious. We have two returning menu items and two new items this year, as well as a range of drinks. Our favorites, the Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre and Beignet Caramélisé, are both returning!
Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself!
Eats
First up, we grabbed the new Canard Confit, Sauce Romarin et Champignons, Gâteau de Polenta aux Herbes, which is pulled duck confit with rosemary-mushroom sauce and herbed polenta corn cake for $9.95.
This kinda reminded us of Thanksgiving dinner with the stuffing and the turkey. We thought the flavors were a little off balance since the corncake felt very dry and bland, but the gravy was almost too rich, so there was too much going on. We’re not sure if we had an underseasoned batch or if this is the consistent flavor, but it was neat to be able to try duck at a theme park.
Next, we tried the Tarte Aux Oignons Caramelises for $8.25. This dish features caramelized onions on a flaky pastry crust topped with bacon.
This was one of our favorite dishes of the day! It was super flaky and rich but not overly dry or creamy. It was packed with flavor, and the bacon’s saltiness really helped balance the other flavors out. There were also spices we could taste that helped mellow the onion flavor, and they mixed together so well. A win in our books!
You can also order the Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre for $8.25. This is a returning favorite from 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025— and we’re happy to see it back! is made with Herbes et Ail Rôtie: Croissant with goat cheese, herbs, and roasted garlic. When we’ve had this snack in years past, we found that it had a lovely, crispy, buttery outside, with a soft inside filled with goat cheese that worked so well with the light herbs and garlic.
And finally, we’re ending this booth with one of our returning FAVORITES! Yep, we’re getting the Beignet Caramélisé for $7.95. This is a caramelized beignet filled with vanilla cream and glazed with salted caramel.
This has been on the menu for a little while, and we understand why, as we love it every year! We love the hard, caramelized top that cracks as you bite into the beignet. The beignet portion of the treat is essentially a cream filled donut. The cream helps balance the sweetness of the beignet, and it has a fun, gooey texture on the inside, too.
Drinks
In terms of drinks on this menu, you can get the La Vie en Rose Frozen Slush for $14.75. This drink is made with Vodka, Grey Goose L’Orange Vodka, St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, and white and red cranberry juices. Last year, we found this drink to be light and refreshing, with a good amount of rose flavor.
This year, we thought it was a little light on the rose flavor. It melted very fast, and our Florida drinks really need to be able to withstand the heat, so be prepared to drink it fast. Since we couldn’t taste much of it, we think the price was a little much, but we have enjoyed the drink in years past, and the other drinks they have throughout the year.
You can also find Kronenbourg Blanc 1664 here for $6.95 or 6 oz. or $9.95 for 12 oz. There is a glass of André Brunel Côtes du Rhône Blend for $8.95, or grab a glass of Guillaume Touton, Brut de Peche for $8.75.
OVERALL
France usually has some good eats, and we think this year is the same! They have fun savory options like the caramelized onion tart and some great sweet options like the caramelized beignet, too. There are also four different drink options to try. This booth usually has a long line for every festival, and we can see why!
That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from!
