EPCOT is full of great restaurants with unique flavors and dishes, and we love the variety that you will find in this park.

Spaceship Earth
At EPCOT, dining isn’t just a pit stop; it’s practically an attraction itself. You can blast off to space at Space 220 in World Discovery, spin through harvest-fresh comfort food at The Garden Grill inside The Land Pavilion, grab quick bites at Connections Eatery in World Celebration, or snack your way around the globe in nearly every World Showcase country. We love eating our way through EPCOT, but there’s one restaurant where the atmosphere alone might raise your heart rate, even though the food is seriously worth it.
The Biergarten Restaurant is all the way in the back of the Germany pavilion. It serves up delicious German staples such as Spätzle, Pork Schnitzel, and Warm Potato Salad. It’s a buffet with LOTS of tasty options and a kid station for those picky eaters.

Biergarten
We really enjoy the food here! It’s flavorful and a great showcase of German culture in its food. But the food isn’t the only German tradition you’ll find here. As soon as you walk inside this restaurant, you’re transported to a German town celebrating its annual Oktoberfest! The atmosphere is VERY lively, which may easily cause some anxiety in someone who prefers quieter locations. But that’s only the beginning of the anxiety-inducing environment.

Biergarten Restaurant
When you check in to the restaurant, a Cast Member will lead you to your table, and as is customary in Germany, you may end up sitting with another group. Table sharing is common practice in Germany, but if you’re not used to it, sitting with others you don’t know may easily ramp up your anxiety! However, if you’re open to this idea, it can be a lot of fun to celebrate Oktoberfest with those sitting with you.

Time to make friends!
If you prefer quiet restaurants, then this one may increase your anxiety for other reasons. There is a live German band that plays traditional music while you’re eating! They play upbeat music that you may not be able to resist dancing to. You’ll see lots of guests dancing on the dance floor, and sometimes, the Cast Members will even join in! It’s lots of fun, but it might not be for everyone, especially those who deal with social anxiety. I will say, my kiddo, who doesn’t tend to do loud noises, LOVED eating and dancing here! The atmosphere really is a lot of fun.

Great live music
If you’re looking for a fun, lively, and social dining experience with delicious food, then the Biergarten Restaurant is certainly a place you’ll want to try! But if you prefer quiet atmospheres with less anxiety-inducing situations, there are better options for you in EPCOT. Instead, check out Chefs de France at the France pavilion or Shiki-Sai at the Japan pavilion.

The Biergarten is a great place to get all you can eat of the stuff you enjoy! Salads? Good solid entrees? Yummy desserts? There’s also a limited wine list and some good German beers with much more flavor than the dish water that most Americans call beer. The Oompa Band is a great show.
It’s been many years since I’ve been to The Biergarten, but we went for my wife’s birthday and it was a very fun place.
Yes definitely loud but so was Hoop-De-Doo Review at Fort Wilderness.
I can see this being a high anxiety place especially with the table sharing, but it is a lot of my.
The staff gave my aid a birthday card written in German, but my Father know Yiddish which is a variation of German and was able to translate it to English.
The Biergarten is best when it is very busy and packed with guests. The guest noise level adds to the hysteria of the October Fest feast. Food is good, entertainment is god, buy pricy.
I find Chefs De France nerve-racking as you practically are sitting on top of each other. I find it was noisy as well.
There are plenty of choices for dining. Take advantage of another choice! They don’t hide the theming.
The same might be said for Dine in Drive in and 50’s Prinetime at the Studios.
Coral Reef, at EPCOT, might worry someone eating delicious seafood whilst funny friends glide by.
There are delicious, low key experiences in the parks, and even more so in the resorts!
