On any given night, you can probably catch us watching the latest shows and movies on Disney+ or Hulu. Now that the streaming services have been combined into one app for those who subscribe to both, it’s so much easier to scroll through the app and figure out what we’re going to watch!
Disney+ recently updated its subscriber agreement, including some clarification on billing and payments, and now it looks like Hulu is doing the same. Here’s what you need to know.
In an email to subscribers, Hulu has revealed key changes to its subscriber agreement. There are several changes, but three have been highlighted as especially important. The first update is a clarification on details related to the billing and payment process, including definitions of subscription terms and billing periods.
Second, Hulu has added information to clarify how cancellation works and when cancellation is effective. They confirmed that nothing is currently changing with current subscriptions unless requested. Cancelling and managing plans is still “just as easy,” according to the update.
Hulu is also adding information related to gift cards purchased through ESPN.
These new terms are now in effect for new subscribers. For prior and existing subscribers, the new terms will begin on March 25th, 2026. You can also acknowledge an in-app notice of the changes earlier, if you choose to do so.
Hulu advised that once effective, these changes will “govern your use and enjoyment of your Disney+, Hulu, or ESPN subscription.” Overall, though, these changes shouldn’t impact you or your subscription directly.
We love Hulu and Disney+, especially because of the perks. If you want to learn more about this service, you can check out the details here.
We’ll be on the lookout for additional subscriber agreement updates you need to know about for Hulu, Disney+, and beyond. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more!

Received the Hulu prompt today, Monday 02/23/2026 to accept the new Subscriber Agreement Terms. However, no ability to review the new terms prior to acceptance.
The referenced Legal Center could not be found. The only option to progress was the OK button.
I received a Hulu prompt on 2/23/26 requesting I agree to new subscriber agreement terms which weren’t available to view. The only option was to click okay to proceed.
Ridiculous to reference to optional changes and not provide a link to the new agreement. Liking Disney less and less
I had the same thing…can’t find legal to see new subscriber agreement terms. Only option is to press ok….not going to do that without seeing what changed.
Hi Donna! You can find the subscriber agreement here.
Yeah it’s not a good look Hulu to tell us where it can be found but when we go to find it it’s not there. There is no Legal Center. There is no way for us to read the agreement that you’re asking us to agree to.
