Yes, we bought a hat that is also a fan…well, it turned out to have multiple fans. It’s a little weird looking, but hear us out because we thought it worked really well in keeping us cool. So here’s the deal. This fan has two fans that you kinda’ just put through some holes in the hat. Those fans can be adjusted to send cool air directly to your face with adjustable controls. There’s also a chin strap to keep the hat and its fans in place while it’s on your head.

Even better is that the fans are solar powered, but you can also charge them like all your other electronic devices. But you’re probably curious about how it works. Well, we took it to the parks on a hot day, and those fans made all the difference in helping us feel cool.

However, we did have to turn those fans up as high as they would go during some particularly extremely hot days because it just felt like hot air was being blown around, but that pretty much happens with any kind of fan in the Florida heat. Overall, the hat has a wide brim to protect your face from the sun (and provide shade), and it’s a fan. It’s kinda’ brilliant. Who knows?
