In 2026, we’re ready to hit the skies! We already have plans to go to the Disney parks, see Harry Styles in concert, and travel as much as we can, but we need to find affordable flights to do so.

Southwest Airlines
Luckily for us, Southwest Airlines has a limited-time offer where we can earn free plane tickets! If you’re like us, you need to check out this deal before you book a flight in 2026.
If you have been looking for a way to hack your flights this year, this might just be it! Right now, Southwest is offering its popular Companion Pass Deal! From now until February 28th, 2027, if you sign up for a Southwest credit card, you have the ability to earn this pass, which can grant you free flights.

Southwest at MCO
Southwest’s Companion Pass is a benefit that lets a friend or family member fly with you free of any airline charges! You will still have to pay taxes and fees, but that flight? FREE! The airline’s current deal requires you to apply for their credit card and spend $3,000 in the first three months to earn the Companion Pass and 20,000 points.

Southwest Planes at Orlando International Airport
This is one of the airline’s best perks, so if you fly consistently with Southwest or are planning on flying as a duo in 2026, this is a great offer. The airline’s credit card also comes with other perks like a free checked bag, a complimentary standard seat, 10% flight discounts, and more. The free checked bag is one of our favorite perks when flying as cardholders ourselves.

Baggage claim
Southwest also doesn’t have any blackout dates for using points, no change fees, and your points don’t expire. The airline has changed quite a bit over the last year, including the removal of their bags fly free program and their open seating policy. That being said, this companion pass is hard to pass up.

There is a $99 annual fee for the Southwest credit card, so be aware of that before signing up. The offer for the companion pass plus 20,000 points ends on March 18th, 2026. If you meet the qualifications, you can utilize the pass until February 28th, 2027. Be sure to keep following DFB for more travel news, info, deals, and more!
