There’s nothing like visiting EPCOT during a festival, and right now, the EPCOT Festival of the Arts is in full swing through February 23rd.
However, the next festival, the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, begins on March 4th and runs through June 1st. Although we’re still a little less than a month away, though, EPCOT is already preparing for that festival. Yes, that means we’re starting to see the EPCOT Flower & Garden festival topiaries beginning to pop up WAY early.
Disney just recently dropped some details about the gardens and topiaries coming to this year’s festival, but now we’re starting to see those topiaries early. The first topiary we noticed was the Bambi topiary, which features Bambi, Flower, and Thumper. You can see this topiary near the Canada Pavilion.
We also spotted a Phineas and Ferb topiary at World Celebration.
Granted, it’s a little early to start seeing topiaries already, but it seems Disney has jumped on getting ready for the festival early this year. Other topiaries you’ll see this year include characters from Toy Story, Mike & Sulley, Figment, characters from Encanto, characters from The Lion King, Mickey and friends, Lightning McQueen and Mater, Groot, and more.
In addition to the topiaries, you’ll also be able to visit some gardens, including four NEW gardens: Plut’s Pet-Friendly Garden, Wildlife Crossing Garden, Trendy Tropicals Garden, and Rain or Shine Fruit Stand Presented by Outshine.
We’ll be keeping an eye out for more topiaries and signs of the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, so stay tuned to DFB for more. In the meantime, be sure to check out the EPCOT Festival of the Arts while it’s still around. You can get a full look at all of our food reviews from that festival here.

We noticed these too. Our thought was that as so many plants had been lost during the recent cold spell they needed replacing. It would seem better to plant the Flower and garden festival plants now, than to replace what was already there with the same, as they’d need replacing again in a couple of weeks anyway.
